Art City is an important and spacious Art Center. Created by the known fine art restorer and dealer Stavros Mihalarias, this center is an innovative concept for the Greek as well as the international art scene, it is like a museum where all works of art are for sale.
The need towards alternative locations, towards the contact with nature as well as the concept of large unlimited spaces that can offer and combine many art fields and activities, led to the creation of this independent microcosm, a city of art, close to Athens.
The spacious building of the Art City, surrounded by a land of 25,000 sq.m was restored and specially transformed to house its multiple activities, according to the designs and supervision of Stavros Mihalarias.
The exhibition and sale of works of art is the focus of the Art City. These works of art are permanently exhibited in specially designed premises.
They are of both local and international origin and their selection is based on quality, authenticity, artistic and commercial value, covering a wide field of styles and prices.
The way these works of art are presented and exhibited, that is combining different styles, forms and periods, offer the visitor the opportunity to view art in a more familiar and particular way.
A certificate of authenticity and relevant documentation accompanies all works of art.
